Text Box: As I write this column I realized that we talk about the weather lots. I mean, think about it, we usually talk about the weather with those we interact with at a store, gas station, or any other new environment with which the people are not in our friend circles. It is something you bring up in conversation to break the awkwardness (the word awkward is awkward looking itself) of silence. The weather is brought up when you don’t want to talk about something deep or important. Anyways...all I wanted to say is that we have been having supremely good weather for this time of year and it looks like summer will be here early. Now, does anybody want to go for a screamer and talk about some deep stuff? This month is an interesting one as it contains a day in which everyone must wear something green; ‘cause if you don’t -- you will get pinched! There is also two weeks free of school, in which for some will be too short; and for others will be too long! Are you doing something exciting? Are you going somewhere? There are many exciting things happening this month and the next for youth. I would like to encourage you to take note of all the things happening this month and in the near future! “My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves.
